~ Louis Paster

"Students who do well in music lessons develop a number of character traits that distinguish them from those who have not mastered this discipline: they learn to arrive on time for lessons, to schedule time for practice, and to prepare for lessons, all of which are great practice for life."

~Jim Kunitz

Welcome to Lena's Piano Studio in Stamford Connecticut.

I know you've been considering various activities for your children to give them best fun and excitement, best possible education, develop the great personality, character and skills that can enrich their future life.

Most people are too busy earning a living to help their children to open their full potential. This is why I'd like to help you extend your choices for you and your children to find something that fits their best interests.

I think you shouldn't decide anything until you first experience for yourself how meaningful or beneficial piano lessons could be. Let me allow you to experience, to evaluate, to check out, to preview the lesson before you sign for any session.

That's right!

I offer a 30-minute No-Obligation consultation in my studio or at your own home. We’ll discuss your child’s musical talents and interests. I’ll show you the benefits of private music lessons and how I teach piano. If after this consultation you and your son or daughter are interested in taking my lessons and I feel I can help your child in this enriching experience, we would discuss a future learning program and its objectives. If you choose to study with me, the cost of the initial consultation will be deducted from your first payment.

As many people, you might think that musical talents are rare. But they are not. They are very often just simply overlooked, undeveloped, and unfulfilled. We are all born with the desire to make music.

Playing the piano is inspiring, relaxing, enriching, and rewarding experience that helps you expresses your feelings, emotions, dreams, and fantasies at any age. The sense of personal satisfaction and pleasure that comes from playing the piano just gets better as your musical technique develops with time.

Even if playing the piano is not the ultimate goal you have for your child, the basic skills and techniques learned from piano lessons will develop useful experiences in many areas of life.

With a piano lessons, children achieve new skills and open a new world of options and opportunities that enrich their lives. Learning to play piano develops the abstract thinking, problem-solving, time management, and listening skills of children as well as add to the child's confidence and self-esteem.

It demands a lot of discipline, patience, and tedious work of practicing, but when the experience is positive it will result in a lifetime of enjoyment and appreciation of good music. As many others hard and persistent work it develops a "CAN DO!" attitude. Learning to play piano is also a lot of fun. Ability to play piano, make and hear music offer live lasting rewards.

I have a deep passion for music and this is the reason why my goal is to help young people discover their love for the piano.

I try to maintain a warm-hearted spirit in my studio so that as we learn and work together, there is a feeling of support and motivation for each student.
